Don't worry, we got you covered! With the help of some amazing stylists and my experience over the years I have put together an easy to follow "What To Wear Guide". This will help you with color coordination, styles and what works for the season.
Each season is just as beautiful as the last and my job is to make sure that everything around you feeds into your story. Whether you want to play it casual or glam it up, I hope this guide will help relieve any pressure so you look and feel amazing!
WINTER |
Although cold, this is one of my favorite times for sessions. The fresh white snow creates a beautiful backdrop for anyone! This time of year the color palette is based on grey with whites but also gives us beautiful pops of caramel brown, blue and reds. These are the colors I have found stand the best against a winter backdrop. When it comes to styles dressing warm is key but throwing a great pop of color whether it be a scarf or toque with mittens is always a great compliment to any session!
SPRING | SUMMER
After the rain washes the winter away, mother nature greets us with the song birds, warmer days and what about the lush green buds everywhere. Between all of the vibrancy that comes with spring it can be hard to find the rights colors when your surrounded by so many. Spring is a great time for pastels, whites and colors on the warmer side. With the warmth that comes this time of year it is also a great opportunity to dress up! Pull out the sun dresses and strappy sandals or if your not into formal attire comfy chic is also a great option. Denim anything with a pastel pink or blue to match your lover will have you guys at the center of everyone's attention.
AUTUMN |
This is a WHOLE other beauty! The leaves are turning into this jaw dropping aura or yellows, oranges and reds with a hint of greens. To create the perfect pallet mixing warm and cold colors if blended together will leave you looking like a rock star! Accenting these during the golden hour along with that amazing "harvest haze" is a recipe for perfection. This is also a great time to dress cozy and cuddle up makes for a perfect fall evening or if your up for it, bust out that red dress you have been saving for a rainy day and let's go!
